Most of us really wanted to take road trips once in our life. We consider Road trips to be adventurous, exciting a lots of fun but most of us have not experienced it but some day we will take a road trip and for that I am going to recommend some places . Here are the best places in India to take road trips.

Mumbai to Goa:

Distance between Mumbai and Goa is 590 Kilometres(366 miles). The Pune-Kolhapur route is via NH4 is mostly preferred and we can cover the distance in 10 hours if we drive non-stop but it has great route so you won't be bored on route and time will pass by easily. It is preferred because it is one of the safest route.

Best time to go: September–March

The distance between Manali and Leh is 478 Kilometres(297 miles) but it takes time to cover the distance because it's route is mostly above 4,000 metres(13,123 feet) of altitude. It has some deadly twists and turns, the snow-capped mountains, distinct valleys, spectacular landscapes and stunning monasteries is the great view to experience.

Best time to go: June–September

If you have time then take stops and complete your trip in two or three days and visit places in between like in Delhi - Jama Masjid and Red Fort , in Agra - Taj Mahal and Agra Fort and in Jaipur, The Pink City - Hawa Mahal and historic Ajmer Fort.

Best time to go: August–March

Delhi to Kasaul:

For those looking for trekking or want to leave busy city life behind and escape into the lap of nature, a road trip to Kasauli is a great idea. Distance between Delhi and Kasauli is 290 Kilometre s(180 miles) it only takes about six to seven hours to reach. The fresh mountain air and vast swathes of greenery in Kasauli are such welcome changes from the urban jungle of Delhi. This is one of my favorite trip.

Best time to go: May-July (Summer season)
