Today’s article is about evolution of art from the work of Leonardo Da Vinci to Yayoi Kusama

WHAT IS ART??

 Art is basically an activity or the a skill of producing things such as paintings and deigns. Also it is truly based upon the imagination, emotions and thought processing of a person. It is based upon conceptual ideas, or technical skill, intended to be appreciated primarily for their beauty or emotional power.

Art is created and enjoyed by many people for many reasons however, one of the things that art does is extend and expand our shared common visual language.   

From the cave paintings in India, till abstract painting, the art pursued with changes. At earlier there were rocks of cave, here different images were drawn by just a small branch of wood or sharp stones. And now, these days, we are having variety of paints like acrylic paints, oil paints, poster paints etc. with different shape , texture and sizes of brushes.

The example of paintings in North India can be found in the form of murals in palaces, caves and temples. The Jain monks and painters of Bengal developed the art of miniature paintings (small pictures drawn to illustrate books). The Lingaraj and Mukteshwar temples at Bhubaneswar and the Sun temple Konark are the fine examples of the architecture of the period from eighth to twelfth century. The rulers of southern kingdoms were not only great warriors but also great patrons of art and architecture. The large rock-cut temples at Mahabalipuram and Kailashnath were built in the eighth century. The Shiva temple of Tanjore and the Bronze statue of Nataraja are fine examples of art. Leonardo Da Vinci was an Italian polymath of the high resonance which is widely considered one of the most diversely talented individuals ever to have lived. While his fame initially rested on his achievements as a painter, he also became famous for his notebooks , in which he made drawings and note on science and inventions , these individuals a variety of subjects including anatomy and note on science and inventions these includes a variety of subjects including anatomy , botany , cartography, astronomy , botany , cartography, painting and paleontology.

Leonardo genius epitomizes the renaissance humanist ides and his collective works compose a contribution to late generations of artist revealed only by that of his contemporary

Yayoi Kusama is a Japanese contemporary artist who works primarily in sculpture and installation, but also active painting, performance, film, fashion, poetry, fiction and other arts. Her work is based in conceptual arts and shows some attributes of feminism, minimalism surrealism, art brut pop art and abstract expressionism and is infused with autobiographical, psychological and sexual content. She has been acknowledged as one of the most important living also to come out of Japan embracing the sense of hippies counterculture of the late 1960’s she came to public attention when she organized series of happening in which naked participants were painted with brightly coloured polka dots.
