During this tough time of COVID-19, we must pay attention towards our immunity. We must exercise daily and have a balanced diet.
Some people believes that animal meat is much more nutritious and it should be consumed on a regular basis. This gives rise to another belief that Beef, meat of cow, has many benefits and even tastes delicious.
Here arises a question, should beef be ban in India? Or like any other meat it should be sold freely?

EFFECT ON HEALTH
- RED MEAT: Beef is a kind of red meat. It is very harmful to the human body. It has more saturated (bad) fat than chicken, fish and vegetable proteins such as beans. Saturated and trans fats can raise your blood cholesterol and make heart disease worse.
- IMMUNE SYSTEM: When you eat beef, your body reacts to Neu5Gc as if it were a harmful bacterium. As your body begins to “fight” this foreign type of sugar, inflammation builds and your immune system weakens, leaving you more susceptible to other threatening bacteria, viruses, and disease.
- DIABETES: Type 2 Diabetes is a disease that prevents the pancreas from producing enough insulin to deal with sugar as it enters the bloodstream. Once you develop the disease, it is permanent in most cases, and can be deadly if not continually monitored and treated.
