What is diabetes?


A condition that reduces the body’s ability to process blood glucose, otherwise known as blood sugar, is commonly known as diabetes. Yoga


Yoga is found very effective in managing diabetes. Yoga is not only beneficial for diabetes but it also relaxes your mind. Certain poses come with regular yoga practice which will improve blood and lymph circulation and lower blood pressure and sugar. Yoga must include certain exercises to manage diabetes:

  • Legs up the wall
  • Reclining bound angle pose
  • Seated forward bend
  • The supported shoulder stand





Maintain a healthy diet


The diet must include healthy and organic food to strengthen the immune system. The intaking of a healthy diet will revert the effects of diabetes. The diet must avoid things which include a lot of carbohydrates like alcohol, refined oil, etc. Because carbohydrates are broken down to create glucose, thereby raising the sugar level. The food which helps in the digestion process should be encouraged. Never eat too much in the night because results in increasing metabolism level which will not suitable for diabetes patient. It's ideal to drink at least two litres of water a day, and when you drink enough water, it helps your kidneys to flush out toxins and prevents dehydration as well. When you drink water regularly, your blood sugar levels begin to stabilize, and the risk of diabetes getting worse also reduces.






Aloe Vera


Aloe Vera is found in most of the households in India. Commonly, it is used for beauty purposes. It has anti-inflammatory properties which help in controlling blood sugar levels. It is proved very effective in controlling diabetes. It is bitter but if we combine it with buttermilk for making them taste better.

The consumption of aloe vera in daily routine will assure you a healthy and fit life. It ends up many other problems like healing wounds, making the skin glow, etc. Therefore, add this to your daily diet to live a healthy life.





Amala


It is rich in Vitamin C and antioxidants which makes it perfect for treating and keeping diabetes under control. It contains chromium which allows your body to respond to insulin, which keeps the blood sugar under control as well. It is a mixture of various other minerals such as calcium, phosphorus, and iron; they help with the body absorb insulin and regulate the blood sugar levels.

If you plan on taking amla supplements to regulate your diabetes, then consult with your doctor. So that he will prescribe you the proper dose that doesn't interfere with your current medical plan.
